Why did I buy Lego Star Wars #TheCompleteSaga on the original ds handhelds (not 3ds) in 2026.

With how expensive games are getting this game meets alot of modern gaming standards be it completely offline.

It has a #hubworld with other characters randomly navigating and you can battle or walk pass✓
You can collect an offline game currency while playing✓
The game *and the system (particularly the ds lite model) are crazy affordable. I got a dslite system for 44$ used in a physical store. ✓
Local multiplayer on two ds handhelds.✓

You can usually find ds games for around 3 to 10$ compared to #Nintendo #Switch these are low prices.

Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga ds is one of those games pushing the ds spec limits, praised by fans and technical gamers alike for what they managed to pull off with this original ds title. Which was making it as console like as possible on the go.

Lego Star wars basically feels like it has an offline #Splatoon formula. With the hub, ai walking characters. It works for me.

News / Leaks: Development builds of Splatoon 2 have leaked

We have just received information that content from a leak from last April has started to be published online. One of the things included is a #Splatoon2 prototype build.

We don't know much details but we know one of these builds dated back to March 2017 and it seems like content from it has leaked, as tracks from that game have started to be published on YouTube. News / Eggstra Work: Pick up a shift now!

Apologies for missing this but an #EggstraWork is on now. It seems like the official social media accounts and some people aren't covering this hence me missing it (haven't popped into Splatoon for a while, got to be honest).

This shift is on Sockeye Station with the weapons available being the Splattershot, Blaster, Splat Roller and Splat Charger. It'll be on until Monday at 1am BST! I assume the Chum Sticker is the reward for this as Nintendo are only doing reruns now but not quite sure.

News / Price Rises: Increases in price have been announced for Switch

Nintendo announced yesterday that price increases are now here for Switch consoles. The rises primarily target Switch 2 with a roughly 30€/US$50 increase in console prices per region, not every regions pricing has been announced yet though. Increases have been announced for Switch 1 in Japan too and NSO in Japan/South Korea.
