Did a little earthquake inspection this morning, but it’s pretty cold (24°) so I haven’t gone around the sides and back of the house yet. Just a couple of new cracks, in the same area. The first is right in front of my porch and the other is right inside the door. I have to say, I’m grateful that’s all I’ve found because it was the scariest moment of living here, beating out when lightning struck the tree right off of my kitchen. #Earthquake #MidlandTexas

Since I quit spending my free time on Twitter, I’m getting a lot more reading in. Still have some concentration issues (thanks long Covid), but I’m getting better.
No #SpotifyWrapped for this dinosaur. I listen to music on my vintage iPod. My favorites are Flatland Cavalry, Needtobreathe, Jars of Clay (always and forever my favorite), Taylor Swift, and The Gaslight Anthem. And of course TSO now that it’s December.
Just finished Foster by Danielle McCrory last night. Her debut book, Wasp Canyon, was also great and I highly recommend both. Foster was a very unexpected tale of love and death lol. Next up is The Lone Star Speaks. I actually met both of the authors last month and I can’t wait to delve into this. #Books #Reading #Kindle #readersofmastadon
Here’s some of the issues the #TexasLegislature will be discussing during their upcoming 140 day session beginning January 10th. I wish I was kidding. So much ignorance. But hey, can’t have teachers discussing current events in schools. 🙄
