I had not previously seen that the name of their first satellite is Earendil-1, which is of course a name taken from Tolkien, as is tradition for all the worst modern tech companies.

I did it. I switched mastodon servers. The documentation provided by mastodon is pretty straightforward. I would add a few things for semi-normies like myself. Mainly, step 1. download your profile image. 😬
