@durrandon I'm sorry you feel this way. I think the experiment worked just fine. I'm not going to Bluesky or to Threads. But then I never really cared what anyone does, so there's that. I'm not into joining another cesspool, allowing those people to make money because I have an account with them. I am tired of seeing the influence they wield in politics and how they destroy everything they touch. Anyone going to those platforms might as well stay on the former bird app. Thanks for trying!

@durrandon @BalerionTheCat I think that Leyton is shaping up to be an awesome character. He seems to be wholly disinterested in what's going on with his grandchildren. Margaery married 3 times and not once are any of his children mentioned to have been there. He has under his roof the rightful heir to Brightwater Keep, which hinders Garlan's ownership of it. It's Emmon/Edmure situation but in the Reach. And I think that his ass is exactly aware of what happened at the ToJ.

@durrandon No absolutely. Their origins are a mystery. One thing I'm really interested in is the base of the High Tower, but not because it's a black stone, but because of the suggestion that it could be connected to the Mazemakers who are connected to Lorath. And it so happens that a Lorathi is in Oldtown, if he told the truth about his origins. It doesn't feel like Jaqen is there just for Faceless Men business.

@durrandon Alerie has the silver hair and Lynesse looks Dany according to Jorah, but Dany also looks like Ashara, so maybe the two families intermarried in the not so distant past. Dany does have a Dayne ancestor. Gunthor Hightower is introduced on the page, but we never get a description of him. Rhaena did marry a Hightower are had 6 daughters by him. It's possible that the descendant or one of those daughters remarried into the family, like married her cousin or something.
