I finally deactivated the bird app. I have zero regrets. I dropped Facebook 15 years ago. I removed WhatsApp from my phone after it was purchased by them and I used to use it all the time. Ditto Instagram. These a**holes know to do is ruin good things.

The return of the dragons is mentioned only in the AA prophecy. I have a lot of appreciation for the groundwork #GRRM lays in all of his books.

#ASoIaF The vows of the Night's Watch say "I am the sword in the darkness, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realm of men."

It's pretty much confirmed that there's a sword. What Sam found out about the last hero & his blade of dragonsteel makes it more real, imo.

It seems confirmed that there's a horn & I don't agree that it's meant to bring down the Wall. You don't give homage to something that could destroy the realm you're sworn to guard.

Is there also a shield?

This was my first attempt at an illustrated map for a class project(and really my first attempt at stylized illustration in general) Its not the most accurate, I had to take some creative liberties (reddit was quick to let me know every, single, mistake in location and detail) but I’m pretty proud of it. I plan on revisiting it now that I have more time.

#ASoIaF I see a lot of Dany will fight Aegon in a Dance 2.0. I know it comes from GRRM. But it doesn't really compute for me. It's winter in Westeros. At best, Dany will land in there during it. At worst, she lands in Westeros after the Long Night has fallen. I'm not even sure that Aegon will be in the south by the time Dany arrives. Plus there's the red priests, the prophecy that Tyrion heard, Barristan's talk of the PtwP, and I'm not feeling this whole Dance 2.0 between Dany and Aegon.

The sky is so hazy and a yellowish-brownish color, completely blotting the sun because of the forest fires we have. It's really dark inside my place. Can't even see Parliament across the river. It feels like an apocalypse movie or a weird version of the Long Night.
