Jurors have reached a verdict for 9 defendants regarding the Prairieland Detention Center noise demonstration in Texas.

This case marks the first time the government has filed terrorism charges against “Antifa." Legal experts have been raising alarms over prosecutors’ theory — arguing defendants, including some who were not even at the demonstration, are part of an organized criminal “Antifa cell” and broader conspiracy.

The first charges in the Prairieland case were filed weeks after the Trump administration designated antifa as a domestic terror group last September.

Prairieland 19 Case Update

The Prairieland 19 trial collapsed on day one in federal court, spotlighting how politically charged protest cases are handled. The case previews aggressive prosecution tactics, the implications it has beyond the courtroom, and what to watch as it moves forward.

~ MARCH 3 ~

In the morning, Judge Pittman approved the prosecution's motion to bar the defense teams from using self-defense and defense of others as an argument, removing a crucial part of the jury's job in this case. This further proves what we already knew, that this trial isn't about the truth but is merely a tool to try and stop dissent.

Prairieland Federal Case Update

Late on Friday the prosecution submitted a motion to the court to tie Song's defense attorney's hands behind his back. The prosecution asked the judge to bar any defense argument based on self-defense or defense of others. This argument has been implied in court the first week and gained traction during cross examination, especially after the cop in question admitted to drawing his gun on someone who was running away with their back turned.

#Prairieland Trial Update: Blessed Are the Zine Makers

Day one of the Prairieland trial was supposed to cement the government’s “ambush” narrative. Instead, it started poking holes in it.

This is the federal case against nine defendants stemming from the July 4, 2025 noise demonstration outside the Prairieland ICE detention center in Alvarado, Texas. The government has framed it as a coordinated attack on law enforcement — even tying it into their broader “Antifa = domestic terrorism” storyline.
In opening statements, prosecutors leaned heavily on political literature and zines as evidence of conspiracy. A printing press found in a raid was presented as one of the key links tying some of the defendants to the broader case. Yes — a printing press.

But the real shift came during cross-examination of Lt. Thomas Gross, the Alvarado officer who was allegedly shot during the incident.

Gross testified that when he arrived on scene, there was no serious crime underway beyond what he described as “criminal mischief.” That already strains the idea of a premeditated armed ambush.
He admitted he drew his weapon without identifying a clear threat. He admitted pointing his firearm at the back of a fleeing person. He couldn’t explain how he was supposedly facing a shooter yet was shot in the back. He was treated at the hospital for 2–4 hours and released the same day — and authorities still haven’t produced hospital records months later.

That testimony does not neatly support the image of police walking into a planned terrorist assault.

Meanwhile, access to the courtroom has been restricted, with family members removed or displaced to accommodate law enforcement seating.

Overlay all of this with the political climate: the case has been publicly framed by top federal officials as the first major prosecution of “Antifa” under new domestic terrorism prioritization guidelines. That context matters. It shapes jury pools. It shapes media narratives. It shapes everything.

Day one didn’t prove the government’s case. If anything, it exposed tension between the rhetoric and the actual testimony.

The trial continues.

On July 4th — while this country was busy setting off fireworks and pretending it gives a shit about “freedom” — Maricela Rueda was arrested at a protest outside the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado for doing the most dangerous thing you can do in America: telling the truth.
Maricela spoke out against the violent, racist scam that is the immigrant detention system, and the state responded the way it always does — with handcuffs.
She is now incarcerated for standing up for dignity and justice. Let that sink in.
Maricela isn’t some abstract “activist.” She’s a mother. A daughter. A sister. A friend. A human being who has spent her life fighting for others — and now her family is being punished for her courage. Her young daughter is suddenly without her mom’s daily love and care, and her family is scrambling to hold everything together while the system does what it does best: destroy lives and call it “law and order.”
We’re asking for support to help cover immediate, real-world needs — caring for her daughter, managing household responsibilities, and keeping her family afloat during this nightmare. This isn’t charity. It’s solidarity.
If you’ve ever posted about justice, freedom, or human rights — this is where that shit becomes real.
Stand with Maricela.
Support her family.
And don’t let the state quietly disappear another brave woman for refusing to shut up.

Federal agents shot and killed a community member who was observing an ICE raid in Minneapolis this morning. Reports that she was shot in the face multiple times. On the ground reports that feds refused access for medical assistance and physicians who were otg attempting to administer aid and check her pulse.

In the videos of the shooting circulating social media, it is clear she was attempting to drive away. She posed no threat to agents or anyone else. This was cold blooded murder. DHS is already lying about the murder and attempting to justify their actions.

A Portland jury acquitted Indigenous community member Tracy Molina, also known as Cozca, of every charge submitted to them after a two-day trial centered on washable chalk messages written on a police precinct window, and police testimony riddled with lies that the jury ultimately rejected.
