A small practical 3D printing win: In my recent move, a few clips that hold the slat pipes of the bed frame were lost. The frame is only a year old, but the manufacturer discontinued since, and no longer has the parts. And, lost parts aren't covered under warranty. So, I set up my 3D printer, spent 10 minutes of measuring and modeling, and for 3 cents of filament each clip, I printed my own replacements.

Also, another Mickey update. We’ve had him for just over a month now. It’s been slow going but he’s opened up big time. Last night he had zoomies outside of my office, and has been exploring the rest of the house. The other cat is communicating to him properly to give her space, and he’s communicating intent properly (play with me!) but respecting her space. #catstodon #cats #catsofmastodon #catsofpebble
