I'm a console gamer, predominantly on Switch 2 but I do have a PS5, XSX, Steam Deck, and an Anbernic handheld too... I like games okay?

I also play Pokemon TCG casually. I leave the competitive side to my son. Always up for discussing the latest pulls from packs and things like that.

Been a crazy few weeks but taking a breather today to enjoy the Super Mario Galaxy movie with the family.

And yes, I did splurge on the Yoshi popcorn bucket because Nintendo owns my wallet.

Finally found some time to continue with my Pokémon Emerald Seaglass playthrough.

I've now gotten the 8th badge so the next step is the League. Before doing that though I went back to the Sky Pillar to catch Rayquaza and ran into this lovely shiny Claydol which has replaced Flygon on my team.

And of course Japan is also getting physical copies according to Serebii:
A special physical bundle for Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen on Nintendo Switch will be available in Japan at the Pokémon Center Online.

It's not super clear yet if these will actually be on a cartridge or if it's code in a box like they did for the original GB games on 3DS, but it's cool nonetheless.

And look what they've just added to Nintendo Music too!
I'm sure there will be lots of grumbling about the price of the games but personally I'm fine with it. It gives you ownership over putting them on NSO, adds in HOME functionality at some point, and the prices of the GBA cartridges 2nd hand are nuts.

I'm also more sure than ever they're announcing these now rather than on Pokémon Day next week so they don't steal the thunder of the Gen 10 reveal.
