It's been two contrasting nights out - a Friday evening at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley, for Mark Steel's 'The Leopard In My House' show, and a Saturday night at the Garage in Highbury where Utah Saints headlined a night of DJ sets (also including sets from St Etienne, Richard23 (of Front 242), and an audio-visual piece by Jimmy Cauty).
(The soles of my feet ache, and I'm sure the rest of me will soon come out in support.)
I'm listening while sorting out the snaps I took at Jim Bob's album launch gig (and signing) at Rough Trade East last night.

As a colourful break from the norm, have some photos of irises in my parents' garden that I took the week before last.
