Heck yeah! Thanks to a kind post pointing me in the right direction, I went from zero network connectivity on my PC-98 to a full FTP setup and multi boot configuration.
@TechTangents A video you did a while ago setting up networking on your DOS PC inspired me to figure out how to do that on my PC-98. It's so nice not having to open up the PC just to put things on the CF card anymore! Now it's connected to the internet and it'll be so much easier to throw games and software on it. While mTCP doesn't work on these computers, it led me in the right direction at least.
Finally I can install some PC-98 DOS. Don't really need it, but man the reference manuals are super convenient because there's a ton of little differences from regular DOS that makes it a bit strange to use.
I recently bought an external 5.25" dual drive for my PC-98. I wasn't expecting it to be so massive. Usually when I see them, they're not NEC-branded and much smaller and the photos didn't have anything to compare it against. I'll definitely have to figure out something to keep it on the desk lol.
Although I intend to keep using the original drives if I can, having goteks with hxc is an excellent backup plan. Set them up today and they work great. They just don't have that feeling you get with using the real thing though they are super convenient!
It's funny how I've bought quite a few X68000 games and every disk has worked perfectly fine, but several PC-98 and PC-88 games I've bought have disks that have issues to the point that they are unusable or actively harmful to my drives.

HungryGoriya has been playing Secret of the- I'm sorry... TECMO Secret of the Stars and I've been painting along! Seemed like a good excuse to do another starry space scene.

Recently I acquired the X68000 port of Columns. Not a valuable or notable game, but it's really rare it seems. I mostly wanted it for the wild cover art that way oversells the game and I wanted to provide a high quality scan.

A little Halloween treat! Part of a comic I've been working on about retro games. Naturally, Demon's Crest was going to come up at some point.

Watercolor, gouache, and calligraphy ink on watercolor paper.

CW: Spooky stuff!
