Startled by this caterpillar on a rue plant. I thought it was a tiny snake. I believe this will become a giant swallowtail butterfly later. #insects

Part of a response to an email I sent my city. To get to 1 of my jobs (a 15 minute drive in my personal car) It would take 3-4 hours. a part of that is how slow I walk as there isn't a bus stop in my neighborhood & I'm disabled. a lot of it is because the bus goes in the opposite direction I need it to & then weaves in and out all over. If the bus went from the stop onto a major road and then connected to the other major road it would be stupidly easy and logical. apparently I'm asking too much.
