At the grocery store today I chatted with the clerk and I noted how everyone was a bit off today. She said "You would think everyone would be happy."
I just said Hmm, but I thought, they know deep down they just fucked themselves. And of course, us also. But they know they're going to pay now. No one can delude themselves like Americans, but today, in the back of their petty, vindictive little brains, they know.
