[MTG Arena - Deck Help] I need help with my token deck - Lemmy.World

This deck is a Blue/Green token/counter deck where the end-game is a Doubling Season/Extravagant Replication or Doubling Season with Homunculus Horde combo to produce exponentially more and more tokens/counters. Proft’s along with Crawler are there to generate tokens as is Brisly, while Soul Cauldron is there to make the most of all those tokens. Along with Homunculus Horde or Elfsworn Giant, that’s game. Problem is, lots of the cards in this deck are geared towards getting mana, which leaves not much room for creatures outside of Llanowar Elves or Lumbering Worldwagon. To counter this, lots of these low-cost cards are there to serve as defense while I gather mana, or counter what the opponent tries to play. I feel like I’m trying to do too much, but this is what I’ve come up with with the cards I have unlocked. Can anyone suggest cards to add/remove from this deck to streamline mana production while not leaving myself vulnerable to early game cards? - Cogwork Wrestler - Dive Down - Fleeting Distraction - Opt - Sleep-Cursed Faerie - Ankle Biter - Bushwhack - Llanowar Elves - Malamet Battle Glyph - Sunshower Druid - - Deduce - Don't Make a Sound - Drake Hatcher - Essence Scatter - Fog Bank - Mischievous Mystic - Proft's Eidetic Memory - Stalked Researcher - Basking Capybara - Bite Down - Bristly Bill, Spine Sower - Druid of the Cowl - Dwynen's Elite - Explorer's Cache - Scavenging Ooze - Sita Varma, Masked Racer - Skyserpent Seeker - Agatha's Soul Cauldron - Campus Guide - Swiftfoot Boots - - Unstoppable Plan - Worldwalker Helm - Refute - Blighted Burgeoning - Imperious Perfect - Lumbering Worldwagon - Return from the Wilds - They Went This Way - Wildwood Mentor - Scrawling Crawler - - Homunculus Horde - Out of Air - - Elfsworn Giant - Doubling Season - - Extravagant Replication - -Various tap G or B lands plus 6 basic Forest and Islands

Will a Razer Blade 15 play nicely with Linux? - Lemmy.World

I’m looking at buying a used Razer Blade 15 to replace my HP laptop running MintOS. I WANT to just be able to take my old 1Tb SSD out and slap it on the Razer, but I doubt drivers will work. But if i just throw a new OS on there, will it work fine?

Beginner in need of real help! - Lemmy.World

I’ve been interested in self-hosting for a while, but didn’t really know where to start. I’ve never messed with Linux before and wanted to jump ship from Windows since Microsoft decided to start putting ads everywhere. I came across this post [https://lemmy.world/post/6542543 [https://lemmy.world/post/6542543]] which was exactly what I was looking for to start, and seemed like a straight-forward guide. I have two laptops, one I want to act as my media server with Docker and the other as my everyday device. Except I’ve been met with setback after setback from the start. I tried installing Ubuntu Server on the media server laptop but just could not get it up and running. I was suggested to try using a more beginner-friendly distro, so I went with Mint. I also liked the idea of a GUI I can mess around with. Docker was a success, but then I got to the Adguard part and when I try the docker-compose.yml step, grub just hangs. Decided to skip that part and go onto Jackett. Nope, more errors. Tried Prowlarr, different errors. I don’t want to give up on this because its something I really want to get going for my media, home automation, cameras, etc etc. But I feel like I’m flying blind here. I have a lot of homework to do to learn Linux, but is there a different, beginner-friendly guide out there for me to follow for now?

No network on laptop - Lemmy.World

This is my first time messing with Linux so please forgive my ignorance. I have an HP Elitebook 840 G8 that I’ve installed Ubi server on. I was trying to install a GUI on it, so I tried pulling the SLiM package from the web, but got "Temporary Failure resolving ‘Archive.ubuntu.com [http://Archive.ubuntu.com]’. This laptop doesn’t have an Ethernet Port, so I have to use a Microsoft USB-Ethernet dongle. But I haven’t been successful in getting that to work. Is there a way for me to manually download the driver on a USB, then load it that way?

A blind man walks into a bar. - Lemmy.World

He has a seeing eye dog with him. Once he gets to the bar, he grabs his dog by the tail and starts swinging it around over his head. Everyone’s horrified and the bartender finally yells out and asks, “What the hell are you doing?!” The blind man says, “Just taking a look around.”
