I have a server that gets into a boot loop (but prior to getting past POST it seems) whenever I lose power. Drives me insane. It could be the PSU, but undetermined. I would hate going through the headache of replacing but I might have to. No issues with anything else until a sudden power loss. 😢

Arg, I really need to buy a UPS for my server - I lose power somewhat regularly and I'm tired of it immediately turning off.

After a lot of tears I have a Pi up and running with a Mastodon instance. I offloaded everything except the webserver to my NAS and I'm trying out a high endurance SD card just in case. Once everything is actually working 100% and I'm convinced it's stable I may consider migrating my account. Thanks for the inspiration @mrcippy !

I haven't worn my Vostok in a while because I was having accuracy issues, but I notice now that it's perfectly fine as long as it's fully wound first and I wear it the whole day. When the wind goes down overnight it loses accuracy, even if there's plenty in the power reserve... First watch I've had like that. It does have a lot of charm though. #watches

One of the barcades near me has #pinball machines that all look and play brand new - even the ones from the 90s. I can't imagine how much work they put into them. It always blows my mind.

Arg, postgresql and redis up and running on TrueNAS in docker... Mastodon is being special. I'm thinking I'll try running the web server on the Pi and keep the rest on the NAS... Very close to getting it working in docker but the environment is a bit restrictive and I'm not used to it. Let's see what happens! 🖥️

Alright I finally pulled the trigger on a 38mm 1963... I couldn't pass up a $100 sale. Here's hoping it's awesome! I've been hurt before with my crazy inaccurate Vostok. But at that point it's really more about how it looks and feels. #watches
