#WordWeavers 3/27: "Which character would be the most fun to be around?"

Gjuki, the little dragon. 🐉 He is very good company. Other than that, I do try to write my human main characters as people I would be ready to have the occasional cup of tea with. 🍵

Good morning, lovely tooting friends! ☀️ Happy Friday!

Oh my goodness, Richard E. Grant as Mr. Bennet! What a delight!

#PennedPossibilities 967: "What level of education do your characters have?"

Herrad is fairly educated for her world (as a judge, she is literate, fluent in Latin, and familiar with the law); Wulfila came by a comparable level of education much more informally (having an ex-nun for a grandmother certainly helped). As for Ardeija, he starts out as a warrior with very little formal education (although he *can* read and write, a little), but finds himself drawn into learning quite a bit more ...

#ScribesAndMakers - Do you have a sewing kit in your home?

A small pocket sewing kit (actually, I think I've got several of those), a sewing kit in a pretty leather case that I got for my First Communion, a large 3-tier wooden sewing case, and an old sewing case that my mom bought for me in a thrift store some years ago. Contains an interesting mix of buttons.

Good morning, lovely tooting friends! ☀️ Have a wonderful day!

It's my last morning at the camping site for this week as there is snow coming in. At the moment though, it's just a little windy and rain is pitter-pattering on the roof of my little caravan. Birds are singing, and some distance away the drumming of a woodpecker.

The thing that gets me is we already had working speech transcription, we had useful digital assistants, and the insertion of LLM based "AI" made them worse and even less reliable.
Good morning, lovely tooting friends! ☀️ Happy Sunday!
