I forgot to explain the 4 Pi name. IBM's System/360 mainframes got their name because they supported a full 360º circle of applications, from business to scientific. The 4 Pi aerospace computers, however, were designed for the 3-D world, a "sphere" of applications. While a circle has 360º, a sphere has 4π steradians of solid angle.
I Decompiled the White House's New App

The official White House Android app has a cookie/paywall bypass injector, tracks your GPS every 4.5 minutes, and loads JavaScript from some guy's GitHub Pages.

Here's one for the icons-in-menus haters on macOS Tahoe:

defaults write -g NSMenuEnableActionImages -bool NO

The app is now open source (AGPL-3.0), the app is free and rather simple

It's also downloadable outside the Play Store. iOS port is in the making. F-Droid is an option, will have to look into that

So they're rebooting the X-files. I loved the original, so I wish them well, but I wonder how you remake a show like that amid this cultural moment we're in?

How do you do a show about a pair of underdog FBI agents investigating a sinister conspiracy by the government when the people in charge of the government now believe in even crazier conspiracies than the show ever explored?

A friend pointed out last night that WinRAR is more profitable than OpenAI and I can't stop thinking about it.
@MLE_online It reminds me of the Baader-Meinhof effect. When you start noticing something, you see it more often.

I wouldn't mind a catastrophic snow storm to trap me inside my house and cut me off from the rest of civilization right now, if we're being honest.
