@reduz HI, Yea, years later That fork is just a bad copy of godot, they supposedly have another version that claims to be 12x faster than godot, but they only showed a screenshot and it was againist 4.5.

On another topic, would you mind accepting my follow request from twitter, i am curious on what you said on hddagi and texture/mesh streaming. Username Saulcava1

@reduz Fine, but why did you hide a dude that literally just said “?” In the replies like why, it not possible to be confused about thar( in my honest pov) https://x.com/Khaelus_/status/1839661039329181962

@reduz Dreams is the key to make 3d art accesible in my opinion , has great tools, sdf and it cool like this is awesome https://youtu.be/_UyucvG3vaE?si=PQADQHSK9m0vO1U2
The only downside is just sdf performance and adoption.

@reduz I kind of think composing works better for me because it gives more margin to reuse that to other nodes and makes it easier say you have a stats node and have exported variables that you can apply to the enemy, it helps then reusing that to other mobs and changing the exported value to say have more streinght and less deffense or the level of the enemy depending on the dificulty say you are in hard mode and want to change to easy mode, then you can just change the level variable
@Nifflas he used il2cpp with ecs.
@reduz Also maybe rendering had a bit to do , though it seem’s like it gains similar performance here, because it just has to call it one time in godot( not sure if unity did the same though, but i think the best way would be good ecs c++ performant code to match or surpass unity..
@reduz even if i don’t know much on this i wanna learn and is cool to see your point on view on these stuff.
@reduz @matiasgoldberg rip, well atleast is for the best.
@reduz Certainly it does miss, but i think most is stability in 4.x which will be coming over the years and finishing stuff like ik , 2d, hdr etc… and improving fundamentals like rendering and animation and godot physics, though jolt is awesome.
@mihe you guys are the best.
