We give up on our goals too easily sometimes. Just because the timing or circumstances weren't right once doesn't mean the entire plan is flawed. We need to be open to life and let it surprise us in good ways. Trust yourself and keep going. #sundaythoughts

Another great read from an independent bookstore. This one from Honest Dog Books in Bayfield, WI USA. "Grandma Gatewood's Walk" tells the story of a very strong and determined woman who through hiked the Appalachian Trail several times, the first at 67! In Keds, no less!
But what was truly moving about this story is the terrible domestic violence Mrs. Gatewood endured at the hands of her husband for most of her life. She was a survivor in many ways.
