I would rather suspend the punishment of every single bad person in the world if it meant that the system that allowed those bad people to do those bad things was replaced by a system that prevented those bad things from happening again. I don't care for punishment. Punishment doesn't fix systemic issues; systemic change fixes systemic issues.
