I think this move is a good thing for Senator Lidia Thorpe and for the Greens.
She'll be more free to speak her mind about Indigenous issues, and the party won't be walking into yet another "Perfect is the enemy of good" scenario.

In my opinion, the proposed Indigenous Voice to Parliament is an excellent idea, and will help to raise discussion and awareness of Indigenous issues and rights. We don't know all the details yet, and it may not be perfect at first, but I think it's a great step in the right direction.
