Jim JonesHere's a #MastodonTip to people (and some of my friends) who are making the #TwitterMigration (and something I, myself, am still learning to do regulalry) is that the general culture of Mastodon instances prefers that all images have ALT text applied.
It is very easy to do in the web and mobile web clients. I am not as sure about the mobile client.
I know it is very much appreciated and encouraged, so give it a go.
