@krzyzanowskim any chance I could grab an invite?

@siracusa 100% agreed that the power users probably do, but expecting Apple to change the input paradigm of iPadOS based around accessories they can’t guarantee folks will have seems like a fairly safe bet as to why they haven’t gone down that path.

That being said, I could eat these words come WWDC.

@siracusa thoughts on the ATP discussion about current issues with giving the iPad more power user features. I agreed with most, but not sure why (in my opinion) the most glaring issue is never mentioned.

The fact that a finger is the primary input device for the iPad and iPadOS. That alone makes using the iPad for “power user” tasks a huge pain. The imprecision of a finger, large onscreen keyboard, and relatively small screen, make the experience frustrating for even moderately complex tasks.

@marioguzman @zenspider broken in Icecubes too.
@paul You can buy ice from McDonalds, it’s dirt cheap and comes in a larger bag. Like 0.89¢ a bag if I remember.
@panic is there some trick to get sequential Tasks to execute? I’m trying to wire up the Rails Server, then Ruby Server Debug to start once it’s up. Right now it just sits at 1 of 2 tasks completed, and the Ruby debugger needs to run manually to actually connect. Is this situation possible with Nova? #panicnova
@ffried @krzyzanowskim know the video off the top of your head?
@caseyliss fair enough. Maybe worth a blog post? Navigation and SwiftUI is not something obvious on how to solve in a straight forward manner. It’s one of those things that has kept my SwiftUI usage low. Would love to know of an elegant way to use it.
@caseyliss have an example of that enum based SwiftUI navigation?
@nmn @chockenberry Good luck if you have a type and module with the same name.
