I’m coming down to the final few days of my summer break and it’s really bittersweet. The twins have hit so many milestones this summer and it’s been great to be home and spend so much time with them. This next year will be harder than any other I’ve gone into.
Today in ā€œOne twin accidentally traumatized the other,ā€ my son walked into the bathroom with the lights off and my daughter closed the door on him. He was only in there for maybe 15 seconds but he was absolutely inconsolable after. 😢
We’ve reached the peak stage of toddlerhood where changing a diaper is a criminal offense, so we have to distract them with something. I’ve been giving my daughter a book to look at during diaper changes and she has such ā€œold person reading a newspaperā€ energy. I love it.

Wow, I really teared up at the end of #StarTrekProdigy season 2. So many unexpected reveals and all of them are SO. DANG. CLEVER.

An absolutely incredible piece of work and while I’m completely okay if that’s the end, I hope we get a season 3 because I love these characters.

#StarTrekDiscovery season 5 rankings up to now:

1) Face the Strange
2) Whistlespeak
3) Erigah
4) Lagrange Point
5) Labyrinths
6) Mirrors
7) Under the Twin Moons
8) Red Directive
9) Jinaal

If I’m honest, episodes 2-5 in this ranking are all tied for 2nd šŸ˜Ž

It’s really hard to rank the first four because they’re all pretty top tier for me. I love Burnham’s S5 arc

#StarTrekDiscovery ā€œLabyrinthsā€ is a great introspective look at Michael Burnham’s journey and complements her experience fighting herself in ā€œFace the Strangeā€ nicely. A great series defining moment that anyone in a leadership position can resonate with.
As we get further into #StarTrekDiscovery S5 (which has been great), I can’t help but feel short-changed as a fan. COVID protocol, less episodes, and scheduling conflicts have marred this season and drastically reduced the ensemble chemistry. It is tragic that this is the end.
@trekfan4747 oh that’s right!! Yeah the two TNG novels in that run do a lot of Badlands stuff. I loved that aspect as well.
@AndorianSoup Efrosian is great too!! TrekMovie seemed to think so too and that’s also a deep cut. I’m on board.
