Uhh, I think this might be a Xindi!! Doesn’t this look like an update to Degra? #StarTrekDiscovery
OH MY GOD. This is the coolest frame of the Breen to date. Getting literal chills looking at this. Anyone who can claim the Breen aren’t intimidating anymore is just wrong. I cannot wait to see this week’s episode of #StarTrekDiscovery “Labyrinths.”
The more I think about #StarTrekDiscovery establishing that the Breen have a gelatinous state and that they look at Breen who chose their solid form as outcasts, the more I realize just how much sense the Breen allying with the Dominion makes. I love recontextualizing past Trek.

#StarTrekDiscovery season 5 rankings up to now:

1) Face the Strange
2) Whistlespeak
3) Erigah
4) Mirrors
5) Under the Twin Moons
6) Red Directive
7) Jinaal

I don’t want the game to end.

I am gonna look back in five years at #StarTrekDiscovery season 5 and think “I can’t believe they decided to explore the Breen and that it was one of the best villains in the whole series.” Every facet of the Breen this season have been absolutely knocked out of the park.
I didn’t post it yesterday for May the 4th, but here’s my current ranking for the #StarWars movies. The 2-5 slots are very fluid and all fairly equal in my book. Depends on my mood.
#StarTrekDiscovery “Whistlespeak” was great. It’s got that classic A-story/B-story structure and the way we learn about the pre-warp species unfolds well. They feel unique but familiar. I think I like it more than “New Eden” as far pre-warp society episodes go.
#StarTrekDiscovery “Mirrors” was phenomenal. I love it when new #StarTrek explores untapped arenas of past Star Trek in ways that are interesting and serve the current story well. Thematically, I love that this episode holds a “mirror” to the choices we make and their impacts.
WOW! #StarTrekDiscovery “Face the Strange” is an immediate all-timer and possibly one of my favorites in the whole show. Conceptually, a cool expansion of 32nd century lore with flavors of “Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad” and “Shattered.” An incredible bottle episode.
92% totality in Maryland. #Eclipse2024
