Judging Mastodon in general, and Mastodon.social in particular, right now is like complaining that the service at the new restaurant in town is too slow the day after they were mentioned on Oprah.
Give it some time, give the admins a break, and understand that you ARE the burden on the server that is the cause of the issues.
No one is getting rich, lots of people are dedicating a lot of their time for free, and it’s in all our best interests to be patient and allow this to succeed.

Oh well, back in Twitter jail for calling an orange man something unpleasant. Someone called him a part of a woman's anatomy and I said I wouldn't call him that coz theyre useful.... go figure 🤣🤣🤣🤣
