My sweetest Luey is gone. Cancer took him in a matter of weeks. He went for a regular check up and blood work showed anemia. Lots of meds came our way and after a dip down he went back up and then back down. I had him put to sleep yesterday. I wish I waited a few more days, but that would have been for me. It had to be about him. #caturday #catsofmastodon #cats

Happy #caturday

Luey is still hanging in there. I know he's not thrilled with me making him eat the high calorie paste, squirting iron liquid and vitamins in him. I'm hoping in a couple of days I will see some kind of change and I'll have my old Luey back.

I just found out my 14-year-old Luey has severe anemia. It came on over a 2-month period. All his other labs are normal so this is very strange. I'm hoping I can help him with high calorie paste, iron supplements and vitamins. :-( #catsofmastodon #cats
