Thanks for your kind words. You're correct, they don't want to be weak or sick. I feel I shed more tears and emotions for the animals I've lost in life than some of the humans. ๐
@RockyM the bond is real, and not to be ignored. A cat I had formed a strong bond with as a kitten but which I had to return to its people, friends of mine, due to various factors, retained that bond with me its entire life, and I was very sad when it recently passed, but happy that it passed quickly because it was always a leader of its world, and deserved to go with dignity. But very sad I did not get to say goodbye to him.
The tears come from the strength of the bond that is broken.
"The tears come from the strength of the broken bond" is something I'm going to have to keep with me for a while. Thanks for that. I have not heard that before. I'm not used to shedding tears and I don't do it that often so when it happens to keep coming in huge waves it doesn't feel like a good release although I'm sure it is.
