I just had a terrible thought. Artificial Intelligence and robotics are likely to make MANY, MANY jobs obsolete in the next ten--perhaps even in the next three years.
1) How will we keep those who have lost their jobs to AI solvent? Finding new jobs will be tough if entire fields replace workers with AI.
2) How will we fund Social Security if there are far fewer workers to be taxed?
Should we pay for this with a special tax on employers who use AI to replace workers?

Read this tweet and read up the thread Elon is responding to. I think Elon is threatening to close down Twitter if he is voted out.
Elon Musk has just put up a poll on whether he should step down as head of Twitter.
He also he said he would poll the Twitter audience before making any more major policy changes.
How many people believe this poll is legitimate? Can't Musk rig it to get the answer he wants?
