Every fall I bite the head off a live chicken and bury it at the base of the grapevine, and every spring the vine comes back to life. This is the way.
Kinda sad.
My own theory is that TJ’s doesn’t really have a director of branding or whatnot. Every week, they just let a different employee choose the font for the packaging for the new product.
I’ve subscribed to the New Yorker since the late 80s. I used to throw them out, but sometime about five or six years ago, I started holding onto them for reasons I cannot really explain. But I’m now unable to let them go, and I know one day there will be a reckoning.
My wife must have passed my name on to them after I helped set up tables in her Apple Pages doc.
