For the last 9 months, I've been working to launch the Verona Public Library Foundation - a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization in support of the Verona Public Library (in NJ).

As of Sunday, we're going to begin to take donations and I can't wait to see all the work from an extraordinary group of people realized.

Support your local library, friends!

It's always so much fun hanging out with Tim (Board Game Hot Takes), @AllGamesNewNOld and @RileyStock on stream playing games. Here is our latest iteration playing some Champions of Midgard from Grey Fox Games.

I did my first “official” review episode on The Board Game Community Show podcast. Tim, from Board Game Hot Takes, and I chatted about our thoughts on Paperback Adventures from Fowers Games. We may have gotten carried away in our convo, but hopefully it’s helpful and enjoyable!

Have you played it or have any interest in it?

Imposter syndrome is absolutely kicking my butt lately. I get to chat and hang with so many awesome people in the board game community and I feel like “there’s no way they like me. They’re just being nice” or “I ramble so much and am annoying! I have a face for radio & a voice for silent films.”

Anyways, thanks everyone for being nice to me. I just wanted to get the thoughts out of my head. Imposter syndrome comes for us all 😅

I finally played Cthulhu: Death May Die this weekend and it did not disappoint! The game was intense, thematic, and a blast! Came down to the wire, but I managed to snag victory. Excited to explore this more.

Do you have a favorite Cthulhu game?

Excited to dive into insanity!

As we go into the holidays, it’s more common to have feelings of anxiety, loneliness, hopelessness, etc. You’re not alone. It’s temporary. Hang in there and know you’re loved.

As someone that has dealt with this the majority of their life, I know the next two months are usually the hardest on mental health. Reach out to me, or someone you trust, if you need anything.

Played more Paperback Adventures. Going to team up with Tim from Board Game Hot Takes in a week or two to chat about our thoughts on it on The Board Game Community Show. Any interest in this rogue lite word game?
Also, did I use instances right here? 😅
