@RileyStock My TTRPG group occasionally likes playing 6 nimmt!
@XoeAllred Niiice! When we recorded I said that I’d play it again but likely wouldn’t buy it, but last night I started thinking I might. It’s a quick, fun game and I don’t think I have enough of those.

@RileyStock are these all a review of the experience playing live with voice connection?

I feel like my review of several BGA games would be different depending on if we’re talking about this way of playing vs turn based (i.e. entering moves when you get a chance, no set meeting time needed.)

@protospielo All of these we played with an audio connection. I agree. If we played without being able to talk, some of these probably would have been a much different experience. I think a review of how they all play asynchronous would be really good info.

@RileyStock I’ve been taking some notes on my reactions to playing several of them turn based (not in alphabetical order, though — that seems brave to me, as I’m sure there are several mixed in that are less fun 😂)

So far these are only private notes to self, though — and some are not recorded yet. I should probably at least record a 1-5 rating after each play…

@protospielo doooo it! I think that’d be great to read through.

We’ve played 11 games and I’d say only one was a dud so far, but I’m sure we’ll get many more.

@RileyStock that’s not a bad record so far! Although, I guess it might not have been so unlikely for this batch. A lot of those games that start with a number tend to be the light type that work well in a BGA setting.

6 Nimmt is one of my favorites for a large group on BGA. It’s so little effort for so many surprises and memorable moments.
