My cost savings guess on this new laptop is colorful plastic cases. It would serve a few purposes. I would expect that is much cheaper long term and making it only in colorful colors would probably exclude it from most business purchases while be popular with the younger crowd.
Apple hates color though, so you are probably right, we will get multiple silver M1 case laptops with the slightest splash of color.

@leo imagine a government owned TikTok. I assume they would have to follow the first amendment and have very limited moderation capability. What a cesspool that would be.
@shantini we export a ton of corn, soybeans, and I believe pork. I lived in a pretty rural area during Trumps last admin. The tariffs were devastating to the community until Trump bailed them out. Guess who they all voted for again…..

I’ve been using #plex for over a decade. For some reason I’ve slept on #plexamp because I through streaming was all I needed. After hearing several people talk favorably about it I decided to throw my old collection in it. What a fantastic app! I feel like I’ve rediscovered a ton of music I love. The DJs and Stations are really fun and well done. It’s just a joy to use. Check it out if you have an old music library lying around.
