@RecDiffs secret weird things talk on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/s/L8mEjLSb9a

EDIT: most of these are kinda funny but a few are heartbreaking to read

@louie Would be great to have you back soon on The Talk Show with @gruber! Especially interested to hear more about why you don’t expect any big changes. Seems there still is design leadership vacuum at Apple, so anyone interested in changing course now has an opportunity to do so (esp of Dye’s lieutenants have also left with him).
@atpfm While John’s probably wrong on CD-R’s not being S-tier, the biggest mistake for me remains Marco and Casey considering the OG iPhone to not be S-tier.
@marcoarment @atpfm Also, the jump from 6 iPod socks for $29 vs $150/$230 for a single pocket reminds me a bit of the pricing difference between the G4 iMac vs XDR monitor stand. Late Ive/Cook era at its worst…

(A Piece of Cloth/APOC is apparently a sort of sub brand/concept from Issey Miyake, who made Jobs’ black turtleneck)

$29 for 6 (!) socks, one in each color, looks like a bargain now…

@marcoarment Though the ad copy reads like a joke, the 3D knitting looks to be quite interesting process wise. See discussion here from a reddit knitting community https://www.reddit.com/r/knitting/s/1IKO5geSg5 (apparently it’s a bit like 3D printing!)
This is incredible: Pre-writing an obituary for your enemy, who you pre-decease by nearly 5 years, and then having the outlet run the obit when the MF finally dies: https://www.statnews.com/2025/11/07/james-watson-remembrance-from-dna-pioneer-to-pariah/
James Watson, dead at 97, was a scientific legend and a pariah among his peers

James Watson, the co-discoverer of the structure of DNA who died Thursday at 97, was a scientific legend and a pariah among his peers.

@lensco Thanks, I’d be looking at the smallest print size available. Not sure if I should do it but having this image printed on acrylic glass would amuse me
@lensco Lennart, not 100% sure if I’ll do it but would you mind if I use this image for a personal print? Am currently looking at Fracture style services in the UK. I’d be happy to make a StJude (or other charity) donation mentioning you
@lensco @atpfm Weird idea: someone could create a webshop to sell prints/postcards/fracture-style prints of this masterpiece and raise money for St Jude
