WebP is a difficult subject.
People hate it because some softwares don't support it yet (which is a hard issue to solve or even quantity).
But WebP itself is a wonderful innovation. Calling it a "bad format" is boomer behavior. The format is great.
I am very good at C#, and fairly adept at C. I'm also proficient in lua and javascript and can muddle my way through python and ruby. I've programmed emulators and virtual machines and dabbled in programming language development, including creating several lisps
And I refuse to ever touch C++. Just, nope. Not doing it. Screw C++
The "left" unfortunately has so few competent voices. The Tucker Carlson story, for instance. It's childish to paint it like a victory where an incompetent fool got what was coming to him
He's a powerful voice for fascism like we've never seen in mainstream media, and he's probably about to take millions of normies down a much darker path than ever before.
