@dillyd I'm about ready to give up on Mastodon as a whole. I'm autistic with cPTSD and I was initially on an astronomy server that was terribly slow then moved to one that lost support, then went to Mastodon Social and got crap about that site, so went to World. Now that one is no good and people are going to block it. So I went to mstdn.social and that one doesn't have open signup, but the last time I tried that I never got in.

It's exhausting.

@JeremyMallin The tragedy is that it is becoming increasingly difficult to stay informed. There are hysterical warnings that don't help anyone, and then there is the TV "news." Somewhere in between is reality, unfortunately far closer to the hysterical than TV.

There are also far too many people sharing "news" that they do not validate as true.

@PixysJourney I rarely use my phone, so the process of popping an image to a post and then doing it right on my computer is just logical and easier for me. Not an inconvenience.

@PixysJourney When I do this I use the delete and re-draft option. The post is deleted but all the content is right there. I do this to add pictures all the time from my phone and then add the alt-text from my computer.
