I don't think we can beat back government unaccountability and whimsical biases, actions and worse till we truly OWN the country and demand that the government deliver or go.

We shouldn't hesitate to voice our problems just because they haven't become unsurvivable enough yet.

What would have happened if we had engaged in mass protest after demonetisation instead of waiting for four years, endless devastation only to tell the govt "we told you so, please do better"

For me, it has been the opposite. I've been able to gather and answer questions about Indian history here. Real questions, real answers, without the barrage of hate.

Being in a position of privilege and declaring that loan waiver is bad economics is so damn ugly. Especially when you lauded the 3000 crore statue which was made to make them feel better about themselves.

The “middle class” feels they are being kind to agree to “donate their taxes to help farmers” but they are okay with their tax compensating the incompetence of the capitalist failing at his business.
