Finished up my first unit of Rebel Troopers for Star Wars: Legion.
Loved having a chance to go ham with all the basing material I've collected over the years, getting the jungle vibe down.

I've posted a bunch of my painted mini's here that I am quite proud of, but I never shared the most important mini in my collection: Geoff
He is my test model.
Need to know how a color looks on a model? Try it on Geoff!
Want to know if a combination of two colors works out? Time to use Geoff!
It's not just straight from bare plastic to finished model. Somewhere in the middle Geoff helped by looking like a freaking kaleidoscope.

4. Street Fighter 6: Fighting games were never my thing, too difficult controls for me. But the Modern Controls of Street Fighter 6 allowed me to actually play and get why people love these 1 on 1 mind games. Really enjoyed my time with them (Kimberly main, for those wondering).
5. Earth Defense Force 5: It's dumb. It's janky. It is incredibly camp. But man if it isn't funny and dumb fun most of the time. When one of my NPC ally soldiers legitimately asked, after fighting 20 giant acid-spiting ants, "Where did these come from? Did they escape from a nearby zoo or something!?" I knew I was in for a good time.
6. Resident Evil 4 REmake: Horror games used to never be for me. That is until I tried streaming the remake of Resident Evil 2 on a lark and found out I actually really enjoyed it. So I was looking forward to this remake and it did not disappoint.
7. Baldur's Gate 3: I'd already played all the way through Divinity Original Sin 2, so knew Larian could pull this off. But they still did a way better job at allowing so much moments of choice, it reminds me of Fallout: New Vegas. Not seen an ending yet, but enjoyed it a lot so far.
8. Lies of P: as others have said too, it's the one souls-like that I would totally believe was made by FromSoft themselves. Not finished it yet, but had an excellent time with it so far.
9. Stranded: Alien Dawn: I'm a survival game junkie and Stranded scratched all the itches for me with building up a base and existence slowly.
10. Power Wash Simulator: Exactly as it says on the tin, you play someone with a powerwash service. There is something entirely zen about cleaning something from absolute filth to sparkling clean. The background story works quite well, until it becomes foreground story and commits one of my sins in this kind of comedy game: you save the world.
The very first model I ever painted vs. the most recent model I painted, both Space Marine Chaplains.
Lot of experience between here and there. That and some better tools these days. Still very proud of the progress all these years.
(bit of camera quality difference too, honestly).
