There is talk of Doge going after NOAA soon. Do you know what they do in addition to weather and keeping track of SpaceX’s misadventures? Among other things, they publish the aviation maps that vertically all visual flight rules pilots use. Without them, the air becomes chaos.
But Musk’s aircraft would not be affected; there are alternative charts for that kind of operation.
Why in the world would the US Postal Service text me from a Philippine phone number.

Seen on the back of a car this morning. The owners said I was the first person, they know of, who got it. (If you don’t get the joke read the description.)
About 20 miles east of metro Seattle there is a road that follows along the side of a twisty river. There are two 20 MPH s-curves almost back to back. It appears one property owner became tired of people attempting to take those curves at much higher speeds.
Should Spotify be fined for not putting links to Apple, Amazon, Tidal, and YouTube Music?
Occasionally my devices, on their own, begin playing artists I never have and never would listen to. Primarily country and hip hop, neither of which have a presence in my library.
I don’t know which is more egregious:
1. Politicians, who don’t understand tech, making wholesale decisions about how things should work.
