Queensland Parliament, 9 January 2026

BDS Youth Magan-djin held a small rally outside Queensland Parliament in solidarity with the Filton 24, the UK activists held in pre-trial detention for targeting an Elbit Systems weapons factory in Bristol.

Eesa of the Association of Student Activism for Palestine (UK) described the hunger strike the Filton 24 were undertaking, reflected on the repression activists had faced and would face for opposing the Gaza genocide, and offered a message to activists in Magan-djin.
