Spent the night on social but I have to say mastodon.cloud is pretty special! There is definitely a different user experience from instance to instance even while looking at the main feed!

When many of us joined, they didn't realize this was a federated network and that you could have accounts on different nodes. It got confusing quickly.
#feditip: Until we've got a better system, adding white_check_mark emoji to your name is a convention to tell others which account is primary.

How strange that we can know strangers from half a world away in a way that we don't know our next door neighbor. Maybe I've reached some web critical mass, but the absurdity of it all is hitting me hard lately. Yet, without you, I'm just talking to myself at 3am. #insomnia
@eurasierboy If #Amaroq had a way to switch instances & stay logged in to more than one instance, that would be lit. Nice, stable app so far! ππΌ
