@bastardsheep my basis of Americans not caring comes from 20 years working for American companies.
They just don't care until it impacts them.
The other place's issues go away if you VPN into the US.
This does not bode well for a quick resolution.
Anything that doesn't impact Americans just doesn't exist.

@zerogeewhiz I've been driving longer than I've written software ... and know that I will *never* trust a 100% computer driven vehicle.
Autopilot in commercial planes has *two* observers.
And I would think the cognitive load of monitoring a self-driving system *and* the road conditions is greater than just driving yourself.
I just don't get it

It is going as well as expected.
Disappointment. Always a plateful of disappointment.
My only prediction for 2023:
