@host Hey. Trying to convince Dyson Logos from G+ he would be welcome here. His post is here: https://plus.google.com/+DysonLogos/posts/N877HZ4TX14 His complaint about Masto was in past he gained no traction and people complained about him positing his map of the day every day. Would that be cool here?

I haven't been using G+ as much in the last two years as previously. A lot of this has to do with the stronger and stronger "no politics in gaming - wel... - Dyson Logos - Google+

boost this to convince me to call the doctor to set up an appointment to get help for my mental illness (this is the strangest, most authentic and shameless thing I've ever tooted)
@Tyson_NW I've always wanted to make ash and smoke zombies, for this exact reason.
Codex

Codex is the Gauntlet's monthly RPG fanzine. Each issue is packed with awesome game material sourced directly from our community, as well as original art. You can get a PDF of Codex - Hell for...

@gallowglass I ran a couple of sessions. I liked it fine. Very reminiscient of OD&D.

Very simple system that mostly just focuses on getting out of your way IMO.

@pxzzx I do this far too much, especially with PDFs

When new game makers ask me for advice, the first thing I ask them is, "Do you want to be a game designer or a game publisher?"

It's really a trick question, but it's intended to demonstrate they are two different skillsets and disciplines that both require effort in order to be successful (even marginally).

So far my experience with Mastodon has been that local timelines are great, but take multiple accounts, and the federated timeline is... not good, no matter what instance I'm on.

I think my ideal experience would be a way to merge multiple timelines into a personal curated federated timeline. What's the fediverse equivalent of a pocket dimensions?

@Dauntless Fair enough. Another way to approach it is to focus on the details that a satellite cant really deduce.

Theres ruins on this planet in this jungle, there are some life forms there.

Thats kinda wide open still for exploration.

I would still be tempted to go with hexes within hexes, solar system->Planet->Hemisphere->Continent->etc.
