I come from the great planet Earth, born as a "baby boomer" in Central Europe, meanwhile (still) living at the location mencioned below, with no expiration date in sight. PhD in physics from Technical University of Munich, Germany, retired since January 2017. Last project: www.caldose.org at the University of Pernambuco, Brazil.
Fierce anti-patriarchalist for more than 50 years. Happily married for 36 years until 2012, now an unhappy widower, living with my cat.
I know that I shall not see the end of the patriarchy (fucking male-dominant rule for the last 8 thousand years) in my remaining lifetime, but the recent DNC, USA gave me hope that self-extinction of humanity can be avoided by the relentless force and energy of women. Men should get out of the way, should become just drones (bees)!!!!

If all women have equal rights AGAIN, all kind of discrimination, war, global warming, environmental destruction, exploitation of nature, and slavery have disappeared, all citizens have secure, decent food, housing, health insurance, pension, free access to public transport, etc., then the prerequisites are created that all people can finally LOVE AND BE LOVED freely, lustfully, tenderly, carefree, with impunity, because THIS makes us humans.
VINICIUS JUNIOR

DICTATORS AND DRUGS

Globally speaking, there have always been dictators, usually men, and drug manufacturers, mostly men. The "business" of a dictator and that of a drug manufacturer or dealer typically have nothing in common.

A dictator's "business" consists of the economic exploitation of the people and the violent suppression of democratic resistance, coupled with imprisonment and killing.
Maduro was a dictator, and therefore he deserves to be imprisoned or killed. The same applies to Putin, Kim, and others.

Drug manufacturers are not dictators! They produce substances that, when ingested, cause specific physical and psychological effects in the human body.
In the USA and Europe, these are pharmaceutical companies;
in Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia, they are coca farmers and cocaine refineries that process the coca leaves into powder. Incidentally, the first Coca-Cola drinks (what a name!!!) contained cocaine.
Later, the (legal) import of South American drugs became serious competition for the national drug industry and had to be prohibited.
The result: Absurd profits for smuggled cocaine. And that's an incentive for DICTATORS to make money, TOO!!!!!!!!!

SO, legalize all "drugs", but terminate all dictators!

VENEZUELA - Making sense of it

There are many illegal drug-related indictments against Maduro at the NY Southerm District, I know that.
For the US legal drug industry (Big Pharma), friends and donors of Trump, the drugs from South America and Asia are a threat to their profits. Consequently, there will be more anti-foreign drug actions to come.
Trump gives a shit on who will be the next Venezuelan president, as long as he/she will be Trump's puppet.
Why?
Getting control over the sales of Venezuelan oil could triple the US's share:
UNIVERSE

In ancient Greece, several centuries before Christ, philosophy, mathematics, physics, and astronomy were considered and taught together by figures such as Euclid, Pythagoras, and Archimedes. Their insights influenced, among others, Plato and the Neo-Platonists, such as Plotinus (204–270 AD).
Plotinus' essay on "Eternity and Time" is particularly interesting, as it represents, in my view, a philosophical anticipation of the Big Bang theory of the universe.
AMAZING!!!
WHAT THE F?
😆😆😆
JANE GOODALL

Last words, recorded before her death, but presented after she left us.

This is probably the most remarkable and touching TV presentation (Netflix) I have ever seen in my life!

VENEZUELA'S OIL

Trump prepares invasion of Venezuela in his "war on drugs". The reward will be Venezuela's oil!
FEMICIDE

I have always held the view that patriarchy, i.e., male tyranny, can be explained by the development of productive agriculture, because collectively generated productivity is violently appropriated by individuals, usually by men. The driving force behind this theft is GREED, and the consequences are gigantic disparities in income, wealth, and assets worldwide.

I continue to hold this view, but it seems to me that, in addition to greed, another, very dark "driving force" is revealed in men's behavior, one that is also responsible for the worldwide phenomenon of FEMICIDE.

There was a time in human evolution (200,000+ years before patriarchy) when women were not only equal, but were occasionally worshipped as "goddesses," simply because they gave birth to children, thus being considered the source of life, and men only realized after some time that they also contributed to the birth of a child.

The female egg cell is approximately 10,000 times larger than a male sperm cell, and after successful fertilization, it is the woman's body, with all its functions, that enables the creation, growth, and birth of the new life. Although (so far) necessary, the male contribution to the biological reproduction of our species seems rather marginal to me, without downplaying the genetical contribution.

Not all femicides occur for economic reasons, it seems, but out of hatred. So, one can certainly speculate about where this hatred comes from?

Do you think it's possible that the evolutionary biological inequality between female and male reproductive contributions leads to inferiority complexes in some men, which then turn violently against women?

Let me know what you think!
