Today, I did an experiment.
I sat in complete silence,. No fan, no ambience, just silence. Muted everything and disconnected from everyone.
I wanted to see how long I could tolerate the silence, as I am one who generally hates silence.
The answer?
About 20 minutes, before I had to scream to break it.
Just one of many experiemtns I will probably do over the coming days of attempting to figure out how best not to depend so much on the company of others.
