@soph_sol @ehyde Feel that in my soul. I have 2.5 pairs of BT earbuds. I got the second set because I lost the right earbud from the first set (hence .5) - a more recent model from the same company, but the fit is SO disappointing. The first pair fit so well! I still use the single left one pretty regularly when I need to leave one ear open anyway.

The third set is one that hooks over the ear. I still prefer the fit of the original set, but they work pretty well.

@ehyde After reading this post this morning, it became relevant this afternoon when my brother mentioned in passing the way my niece waits for each new Warriors book that comes out. I ended up searching up the link to where the resources are on archive and sent it over to him for her.

Could not get Adobe Digital Editions (curse the stranglehold of acsm on ebooks and this program being the only way to access them on PC) to run on the new laptop. It would launch and then immediately freeze.

After much searching of the internet for answers, and trying proffered solutions found therein, it turned out that ADE 4.5's own built-in cloudness thar was the problem. For some reason, it was trying to summon the ghosts of every book that has been touched by my Adobe ID. Thousands of files in the brand new install's CloudSync folder. Absolute madness.

@villainousfriend I was going to do this but then it turns out page 42 in the nearest book was an illustration of a character in the book rather than actually any text. 🀣

If you’re a user of Libby (the library app), consider before following their suggestion to type #InspireMe into the search bar.

It seems harmless, but it turns on an unrequested AI feature, & there is no way to reverse that.

This comes courtesy of Mr/ProfHeyRochelle, who is now reasonably pissed over following said directions.

@Rozzychan Your post reminded me to go out and pick some ripe mulberries from the couple adult trees we have for a snack, before the threatening weather sends them to the ground. (I just checked the couple discord servers I'm actually active in for this post before I remembered it was over here. πŸ˜…) The older tree tends to put out berries that max out at a lighter shade of purple - sometimes to the point that there's a distinct white cast to them.
