Dye works great with Radiccio! Dye lets you customize the colors of your Mac apps. Check it out!

Radiccio is now compatible with Keyhole! This is a free menubar utility which helps make your Mac’s media playback keys work more reliably. If you’ve ever been frustrated by pressing “play” on your keyboard and the wrong thing happens, this is the app for you. It works with Radiccio and other Mac music players, including the built-in Music app. Get it here: https://ikennd.ac/keyhole/

Thanks to @ikenndac for the collab, and for making this useful app!

Radiccio User Guide
This is a @Radiccio appreciation post.

Also in this update: *checks notes* Something called… Liquid Glass? Anyone heard of this? Hmm. Not sure if it’ll catch on.

Plus, a bunch of fixes and improvements, including several customer requests. More details: https://r.crispycrunchy.computer/news/2026/01/28/version-1.2.html

Radiccio 1.2: More traditional playback controls... and... Liquid Glass

Today’s update brings a whole new way to customize Radiccio. Now you can turn off the right sidebar, if you want! (Or even both sidebars!) Go ahead and reclaim that space for your smaller-screen Mac, or just because you like to keep things minimal.

Find the new options in the View menu, and try our brand new bottom toolbar, with a new horizontal design for your Now Playing info. Take a look and discover which way works best for you!

Not sure what to listen to? In Radiccio, you can add a “Shuffled Albums” section to your Overview tab. You’ll instantly get a random selection of 20 albums from your library. Not feeling any of them? Click “Shuffle Again” to get another batch.

Today’s Radiccio update allows you to open and play audio files and playlists – without needing to create a source first! You can now make Radiccio your default app to open these file types in Finder, if you want.

Also: customizable sidebar icons.
