My kids were playing and telling a fantasy story. I asked my daughter why she liked that but not D&D(she's played up to 7th lvl) She said she wants to befriend the creatures not fight them. What suggestions do you have for fantasy games where you can befriend/have creature companions?

This was the characters health at the end of Saturdays #DarkSun #AthasCon Excursions adventure. The next round a other character went down. Talk about a nail biter.

The kirre is one of #DarkSun's most iconic creatures and one of my favorites. For this #dnd5ed version I stayed true to the number and types of attacks, but also enhanced them with multiple reactions and reactive attacks to emphasize it's 8 legs and barbed tail. https://www.patreon.com/posts/5e-kirre-75320405

Some friends are running this #Kickstarter for #dnd5e and a custom system for #Space1889, a #steampunk sci-fi setting that has a lot of #Spelljammer elements (specifically space travel on seafaring like ships). It also features full ship-to-ship combat rules.

The real question everyone should be asking about the #Dragonlance book is, why can't Kender Rogues wield a hoopak? They're listed as Martial Melee Weapons, but Quarterstaffs and Slings are Simple weapons. #Errata? @[email protected]
