How is everyone else's back to school going?

Does anyone else have the most beautiful, ethereal #twilight right now? It's pink clouds and orange/yellow light.
It was blooming lovely to visit Caldicot Community Garden with my colleague Cllr Angela Sandles this week.
The garden is set at the entrance of the castle park. It's a lovely, welcoming environment and is always looking for volunteers. Why not pop down and fill an hour helping out?

I stopped #knitting this summer. After experiencing what very much felt like bullying behaviours over it, a lot of press interest and a marathon sponsored knit for @versusarthritis - I got covid. My arthritic joints were so sore that I couldn't hold a needle. Afterwards, I had just lost my knitting spirit.
It's September now. The wheel is turning toward autumn and colder weather. It's time to finally finish those gloves.

@Torbjorn I got in!
Holiday jigsaw complete. It was a family effort. Last time my husband looked this relieved we were walking back down the aisle.....

Happy New Year.

(In my defence, there were 12 of us staying at my house).

Wales’ unusual New Year’s traditions are firmly rooted in our long and eventful history, but which of these unique traditions are you aware of?
