I didn't know that the Goethe-Institut runs an #OpenAccess search engine called BOSS:

β€œWith the BOSS Open Access Search, a Resource Discovery System (RDS), you have access to about 3 million licence-free publications from the General Index of All German Academic Libraries, which are available for free download. Last day to register for our first in-person repository training session in Edinburgh. There are still a few places available!

It is for #culturalheritage organisations, GLAMs specifically and will be hosted by the National Musuems Scotland next week on 31 Jan. Tuesday.

There will also be two other in-person sessions in York and Wales before July 2023.

Do we need to fix science blogs?

Science blogs have been around for at least 20 years and have become an important part of science communication. So are there any fundamental issues that need fixing? Barriers to Entry Blogging platforms are mature at this point, and the technology is not imposing barriers to entry for most people.
