We’re on a short overnight trip for my husband, and we didn’t have time to board Echo, our #parrot. So, we brought her with us! It’s her first night in a hotel. #Travel #Birds #SheIsQuiet #WeSnuckHerIn

Visited my Mom’s grave on this sunny, temperate day. It was the first time I’ve gone to the cemetery without Dad. I’m not sure whether it was because I didn’t need to take care of Dad (help him get to the grave, comfort him) or whether it’s because of the holiday, but I felt much more sadness this visit. My Mom and I had a rocky relationship sometimes, but we loved each other, and I really miss her.

Visiting my Dad in WV. Had WV hot dogs for lunch with Guy, my husband. They were really good. 😋

Grateful for many things this year, especially my family, our health, meaningful work/study, and Echo (our parrot). Grateful for some good food and quiet time with my husband. Happy #Thanksgiving, everyone!
